1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) outline the agreement between “Point de Repère” (“we,” “our,” “us”) and the customer (“you,” “your”) for the provision of tailoring services. By engaging in our tailoring services, you agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Services
We provide custom tailoring services for clothing items as agreed upon between you and us. Services may include alterations, repairs, fittings, adjustments, and other related activities. The specifics of the services, including pricing and timelines, will be discussed and agreed upon before work commences.

3. Pricing and Payment
The cost of our tailoring services will be provided to you before any work is initiated. Prices may vary based on the complexity of the work, fabric type, design, and other factors. A deposit or full payment may be required upfront, and the remaining balance will be due upon completion of the services. We accept Cash, Credit / Debit Cards, and Interac e-transfer.

4. Fittings and Measurements
For accurate tailoring, we may need to take your measurements and conduct fittings. It is your responsibility to attend scheduled appointments for measurements and fittings. Any changes to the original design or measurements after work has started may incur additional costs and affect completion timelines.

5. Turnaround Time
We will provide an estimated completion date for your tailored items based on the complexity of the work and our current workload. While we strive to meet deadlines, unexpected delays may occur due to factors beyond our control. We will communicate any significant changes to the completion timeline as soon as possible.

6. Alterations and Adjustments
We offer a limited number of alterations or adjustments free of charge within the first 30 days after delivery if the final product does not meet the agreed-upon specifications. However, changes requested beyond this scope may be subject to additional charges.

7. Cancellations and Refunds
If you wish to cancel an order, you must do so within 48 hours after placing the order. Cancellations after this period may result in a partial or no refund, depending on the stage of work completed. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

8. Care Instructions
We will provide care instructions for your tailored items to ensure their longevity. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions to maintain the quality of the work done.

9. Ownership and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any items you bring to us for tailoring. Any original designs, patterns, or modifications created by us during the tailoring process will remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed upon.

10. Limitation of Liability
While we take great care in our tailoring services, we are not liable for any damage to your items beyond our control or for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from our services.

11. Confidentiality
We will keep your personal information and any discussions related to your tailored items confidential.

12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing or through our website.

13. Force Majeure
“Force majeure” means any unforeseeable circumstance which is beyond the control of either party, or any unavoidable event, even if foreseeable, as a result of which such Party is unable to perform its obligations, in whole or in part, under this Agreement. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, any strike, factory closure, explosion, maritime peril, natural disaster, act by a public enemy, fire, flood, accident, war, riot, insurgence or any other similar event.

By engaging in our tailoring services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
